Mit dem A7M stellt Asus eine neue Modellvariante der A7 Digital Entertainment Notebookreihe vor. Das WXGA+ 17" Zoll Widescreen Display mit einer Auflösung von 1.440 x 900 wird durch eine NVIDIA GeForce 6100 mit NVIDIA nForce 430 Grafiktechnologie angesteuert. Das Herzstück des Entertainment Notebooks bilden der AMD Turion 64 X2 Mobile TL-50 Prozessor, 1 GB Arbeitsspeicher, und eine 100 GB große S-ATA Festplatte. Auch besitzt das Notebook einen 8-fach DVD-Super Multi D/L Double Layer Brenner. Zudem integriert das A7M neben Bluetooth 2.0-Funktionalität eine 1.3 Megapixel Web-/Videokamera sowie WLAN 802.11 b/g.
